I'm aware of a certain stereotype regarding the surroundings of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard's across the US. Chris Rock even has a skit about it…
"Down on MLK" aims to showcase some of the beauty that lines MLK Jr Boulevard here in Seattle (for starters), and likely whatever cities I go visit next…we'll see how far it goes.
This one taken early in the morning last weekend. There's a crosswalk here with a little protective area in the middle that blocks off the center lane. Positioned camera on tripod out there, enabled WiFi and shot from my phone while standing on the sidewalk (I have some long exposure ones here, too).
you certainly don't want to photograph MLK in Baltimore...I don't think you have enough leading lines haha. seriously colors are nice composition seems squared up my only gripe is one you may not be able to fix even with photoshop...trashcans, signage from no parking and a landscaper/commercial vehicle. i wonder if you did this as a fade or messed with the depth of field and shot lower to the ground if it might make a stronger vantage point. idk I'm just spitballing
lol...I'm sure some areas I'll just leave alone ;) I didn't want to edit anything out; it kind of would miss the mark for me in terms of capturing the beauty that exists here...warts and all ;)
