ND Filters

My first real outing with low light and ND Filters.
Very wet and windy couple of days down in Devon but still managed to get out with camera.
Wanted to shoot some waterfalls for a while now and was pleased that the rain was at least putting on a show through the woodland for me. Some of the other images the wind was effecting the branches but it was pretty protected in this part.
Overall I'm happy with the results, edited in photoshop and used the Nik collection for the first time.

Nice shot. I'm waiting for the rains to start here to start looking for similar compositions in the coastal redwoods. Nit seeing the EXF data in your gallery image so can't tell what f stop this was, but you might want to play with your DOF and focus point to get the foreground rocks in focus as well. Or this might make a good focus stacking scene.

Thanks David. I was with the GF and it wasn't the best day to spend a lot of time on each shot.
I will defiantly looking at stacking a few shots next time to include yours and Joseph's advice.

nice job i wish we had the moss on the rocks like you do it gives it an entirely different feel ...not as cold as the ones I've been shooting..nice job. my only thing would be to take 2 shots due to the wind one at faster speed and one long for the water that way the leaves especially the ferns are crisp

Thanks Joseph. I was paying far more attention on the framing and the flow of water and didn't give a fought to shooting multiple shots and combining. I shall remember this for next time.

Nice image Lee.
