I love the toad Joseph. Warts and all! The bottom one seems to be a bit too out of focus. Keep up the good work. I remembered a bit from a taped sermon I had the other day Joseph. The speaker said."I met this fellow I know walking along the footpath in quite a hurry. He stopped and I said "where are you going? He said "I am hurrying along to perfection." I said "well I'd better not keep you, I can see you have a long way to go".We are all quite often doing that. We never really arrive with all this stuff. I remember one of my favourite wedding photographers in Australia,Ian Hawthorne, who back in the film days used to write an article in a photo mag. He said in one of the articles,"It is an article of faith to me that the best wedding photograph is still yet to be taken." That kept me wanting to improve.
I like the composition of the second one, You did a nice job finding a more intimate landscape, but it seems a little green to me. I don't mean the trees, obviously. I could be wrong, but it seems like there was a kind of green filter put over top of it in post that makes the atmosphere seem green. If you try playing around with that, I think it could be a keeper.

Thanks Geoff ..very true! I think everyone is hunting that elusive shit but I'm happy just getting out and exploring.
