I had this shot in mind since a long time, but the conditions were often missing (bad weather, no water cercling island, no time ... etc. etc.)
Today was the right day, good weather, time, lot of rain the last days to fill the lake and something I didn't expected to be so good ... autumn colors.
This small island is located in the middle of the Gruyere lake in Switzerland, when the water level is low in summer, she is reachable by foot.
i like this image. is this a crop or was there more water surrounding in original shot? colors are very nice contrast against the water.

There's a weird glow above the ruins, perhaps a dodging side effect ?
