Quick shot I took the other day to capture this gorgeous sunset. Sometimes it's better to get rid of any distracting colors but to still keep detail. I also proves, that oversaturating is overrated.
Over the past couple of year a friend and i have been trying to do light painting with unsatisfactory results. But there is a lite panel that goes to under 10 per% illumination with either blue or yellow wb that works very well. U cant see the panel lit at 2% so it is very subtle at long exposure.
I bought two lite panels the first didnt go down under 100% and was too much. I have also had tremendous luck with a "nurses" yellow penlight. Strange thing to use i know but it has a bulbous light at the end and gives great drop off
Thanks Jordan! I knew someone would bring up the cutoff on the left ;-) If push comes to shove I can just get the spot healing tool and remove anything that is too close to the edge.
Nice work Thorsten. Not quite sure what you mean by your comments.
I like this, have you tried low level lighting, just gives a little detail. Brilliant sky.
Thanks Loretta! Yeah I tried a couple of things, but this worked best.

Interesting idea, thanks! I got me an Aputure AL MX the other day, might experiment with that a bit.

I like it a lot, but I'd love it if the branches on the left weren't getting cut off. I know. I know, it's a nitpick, haha.
Wonderful colours and a perfect example of how to use a silhouette
