Sea of Clouds

We woke up 4:30am hoping that we can capture awesome sunrise in Merlion Park Singapore. It was partly cloudy at first, and then the weather went crazy just before the sunrise creating this cloud like tidal waves. Good thing I can manage to capture this beauty scenery just before the rain started to pour.
Great experience!

What do you think of this? Do you have any suggestion to improve my photography skills?

Its a bit busy for me. U coulf have shot it with the leading lines of the the pier towards the white sculpture looking at the sky. Giving a story. Zoom in to see what i mean

Thank you Lorretta for your comment. This is the best framing that I could possibly think of because I am also want to include in my framing the two iconic building the Marina Bay Sand and the ArtScience Museum.
However your suggestion for the framing is very interesting! Giving story to the photo could impact a lot.
Thank you once again!

Overall, I like the leading lines. You've got the stairs going towards the statue, and then the dock, leading to the hotel.

The main thing for me would be to try and raise the shadows on the hotel a little, if you can. I think you can also crop the bottom a little more, you don't need that half cut off pole on the bottle left.

Overall, a pretty good shot.

Yes the hotel is pretty dark. I already raise up the shadow but not too much because I don't want the noise will appear drastically.
The pole... yes I missed it :-) Thank you a lot!
