I got up very early in the morning, hoping for the inhabitants of the little red houses to wake up and turn on their lights before sunrise. I found out that they were a group of photographers on a tour of Lofoten. I shot several long exposures (30s) and merged the best shot with a normal exposure to get a more defined sky. As in all my photos, my being the photographer and the model is quite challenging. However, I usually set up the composition, go into the frame and ask my assistant to trigger the shutter. Since such locations have been photographed many time, I always like to add a touch to enhance the character of the place.
