American Southwest

Here's a collection of shots I took while travelling through the American Southwest. Any cc is welcomed. Thanks!

I love the first two. The use of lighting on both of them are spot on. Really nicely done.

I like the third one, but I'd prefer it if you were able to remove the half bush on the right popping into frame

Thanks! I'm not the greatest at composition and noticing those "unwanted objects" to remove so I appreciate the critique.

The combination of the arch and the stars in the second photo is terrific. I'm curious to know how you managed to light the underside of the arch at night. The right part of the arch close to the ground looks a little blurry (also partly out of the frame). Maybe the depth of field was so short that the left side was in focus and the right side a little blurry. Or maybe it's just the way it looks on Fstoppers.

Thanks for the critique! Yeah I was probably shooting at a shallow depth of field and wasn't familiar with some of the blending techniques that should've been used. I lit the arch by leaving a headlamp under it and then taking the shot. There were only about 5 people up there when I went so it was easy to get any shot you wanted.
