Fleeting Moments of Autumn

So, at last, autumn has come and gone here in Tokyo. I wasn't able to get out as much as I wanted to, but I was able to capture a few moments that encapsulate the fleeting nature of autumn's beauty.

Photo names:
1) Autumn Swim
2) Fall from Grace
3) Puppet on a String

As per the usual, feel free to give any constructive feedback and share your own pictures of the fleeting nature of autumn.

i like 1 and 2
1 i would send the time on cleaning perfecting maybe some tonal changes i think it could be a really nice one for the wall
2 is really nice with the falling leaf off center and all those colors in the background don't know if its wall worthy but definitely like the feel
i wish 3 had 2s background i think it would be a better look
time to shoot winter dude now all i need is some good snow

For number one, by cleaning up do you mean the bubbles? I cleaned some of them up, but I felt like if it was too clean it would look a little too fake. However, I could spend some more time on it, see how it looks with fewer bubbles. You could be on to something!

For number 3. At first I actually added some bokeh, but I felt it didn’t have the same impact as number 2. The bokeh in number 2 is meant to be like magical dust falling from the leaf as it plummets to earth from the heavens. That’s why there a lot on the right and none on the left. However, number 3 is meant to be more like a puppet in a stage show, so having all the bokeh acted like a cluttered set, and stole the focus from the leaf (the puppet). I think I should get rid of the small parts of bokeh there are. Do you think that would help?

We finally have the winter cold here, but unfortunately the weather has been just garbage, so I haven’t been able to take a single winter picture.

yeah its just cold and gloomy here too this morning looked promising but my camera was at home ...damnit when am i gonna learn.
1 reminds me of another photographers shot i saw a few years back he had it super clean and in a monotone which worked very well i was thinking this could look very similar i would just take the spot healing brush to it and be quick about it so if you don't like how its going you won't feel like you've wasted 4 hrs of your time editing haha
on 3 did you try darkening and spotlighting the background ill leave an example then it would really feel like a stage haha

I feel your pain, I’ve only seen a handful of amazing sunsets here, always when I’m at work, haha.

I see what you mean for the third one. I like what you’ve done with it. I’ll play around with it some more and see if I can make it look like a spotlight without going too far.
