That atmosphere is 10/10, the "swirl" in the fog is amazing. The transition from being able to see through the water to the reflection of the clouds is great too. Personally I would like a *little* more pop from the grass in the lower left. I am undecided about the grass/tree branch creeping in on the right side of the composition, on one hand it adds balance, on the other I do find it mildly distracting. The poles/logs on the left hand side are also a bit much, but do serve as some form of mid-ground or scale for the scene. Good image.
Thank you Skye...you are correct about the creeping branch...I kept that in the frame to offset the thick fog on the right side of the image so it wouldn't look like mashed potatoes. I have other images with slightly different perspectives with no creeping vegetation, but too much open area with the fog makes the scene unbalanced. Thanks again!
For me this is fabulous moody photo, with beautiful transition between cold and warm colors.
Whoa...that was easy...thank you Radisa!
