This whole Ground Level Tango project started out last February by documenting Coke cans, WAWA (convenience stores) wrappers, spare tires, and other trash that either washed downstream, blew out of recycling bins, or was littered by hikers in Central Perkiomen Park, which sits in the mile or so between my back door and the Perkiomen Creek alongside Collegeville, Pennsylvania. I was surprised to see this trashcan still there the other day because I had photographed it some months ago and it has flooded twice (maybe more) since then and has been under fifteen or twenty feet of running water.
