Hope you like Sparrows

Winter is a super difficult time to bird where they are mostly on the ground foraging around for seeds. Sometimes they come up for air.

nice shots Tim i finally got a bird shot the other day there was a huge juvenile hawk in a tree in my back yard super close to my deck unfortunately it flew further away when i opened my back door for the shot but i got this..even fully zoomed in it wasn't tight enough i was so aggravated

Don’t be too in a rush to ID the bird. That’s a process in itself. However, I would suggest you take the photo over to the birdphotos Reddit channel to start the identification. Great shot, grasshopper!

In our frozen backyard, we feed the local bird population. Sparrows are our most frequent visitors. During our days in the latest 'Polar Vortex', it was common to see 15 or 20 chomping on the goodies. We also see Junkos, Chicadees, Blue Jays, and Downeys.
