I'm not real good at going out when it's really cold. A week ago, we had a -58C wind chill. A few days ago, the 'high' was projected to be -18C with bright Sun and very little wind. So I ventured out to Ft. Whyte here in Winnipeg and got to my favorite spot. It took quite a while, but this lovely lady showed up with a fawn. I got several shots, but a herd of about 30 kids and their chaperones came thundering up. But by that time, I was just about frozen anyway, gave it another 10 minutes hoping for a return visit, but that was it.
