No. I crop. But I have a full-frame sensor so that’s usually not an answer. Again, the biggest key to bird photography is understanding your subjects enough to get close, but not too close or they’ll get scared.
I’ll keep trying we have 5 preserves within 30 min of my house tried to get a blue jay today but those suckers are fast managed to get a finch but nothing exciting

I tried again today but for some reason if it’s not within 25 feet they just seem so small in frame I wasn’t sure if you were using a 100-600mm
