The main issue I have here is the post processing. It looks like you've pulled down the clouds in the upper right to reduce or compensate for what you thought was over-exposure, but now they are gray with a yellow-ish tint instead of white and fluffy.
If this was shot in RAW format, you may be able to extract some detail from the highlights. If JPEG, just be careful to watch the histogram when shooting to prevent blown highlights.
