Eye on the lake

Mt Dora is a great place to sit and watch the sun descend from the sky. Nikon D3400 with kit lens. Comments welcome and appreciated

Digging the chill vibe and mood conveyed by your photo, Chris. My critical suggestion would be to experiment with crops that bring more focus to the setting sun. Since all of the light / color is at the center of the frame and there is no foreground interest, eliminating some of the sky / water just works better for my taste. Pretty blues & oranges otherwise, nice shot.

nice image i wish there was a foreground interest or something other than the bullseye to bring you in but this is my favorite color scheme and a nice moment

I have another shot in same area with a broken pier but it’s different entirely ultimately

Fortunately at this location, you can spend every day looking up the latest version of mirrored awesome.

Same general location

Very nice! I love the contrast of blue and orange, and the minimalistic approach to this. It really draws the attention to the sunset.

Thank you Mark. I try to remain objective about the photographs shot since in essence they're merely a moment of 'the witness'. That moment when our mighty sun becomes just a little burst of light on the horizon before it disappears is a special moment in my view. I love to catch that last little bit and the clouds do so much to make it dramatic!
