For me, it's the last one, with the bee. The galahs are good, but the branch partially obstructing the view of them is an obvious shortcoming. The Harbour view is a little too subdued to stand out in a mass of competition entries. While the yellow + lower right insect composition in the other two is similar, the bee is more clearly shown, and flying into the frame. Also, the black & yellow inside the flower echoes the bee's colour scheme.

Some might "cheat" and flip the shot as shown, so the bee is flying to the right. Not sure, because the flower is "pointing" to the right in the original. People literate in European languages tend to "read" an image left to right, as with text.

Good luck, Jeremy!

I’m drawn toward the vibrance and contrast of the first shot (ladybug on leaf). The details pop without looking exaggerated and the ladybug is facing the camera. Like Chris said, the image with the bee is clear and eye-catching, however, a major element - the fast moving wing blur gets lost in the flower. Best of luck in the contest.

For me, it's definitely the ladybug. The bee is my second choice, but because the ladybug is facing directly at the lens, it wins out.

I would recommend slightly blurring the sharply focused petal on the left, only because it lies on the same focal plane as the ladybug ad they compete for attention. Maybe also a slight vignette with the ladybug at its center.
