Maybe I'm just the Instagram generation but I always like a creative portrait composition. I also often struggle to make good compositions including just the midsections of tree trunks.
The light hitting the left tree is really awesome, totally makes the shot. And I enjoy how the interest shifts from the foreground in the leaves to the background with the mountains.
The only thing is this might have been an occasion to focus stack? The mountain looks a little bit soft compared to the trees.
