Hōlei Sea Arch

This photo is from my last trip to Island of Hawaii. There was high surf warning in that area so waves hitting the cliff was massive. I picked the one that I like the most out of hundreds of attempts to capture the wave impact. I know this angle has been photographed many many time as there was a view point, but I still want to share it with you guys! Photo color graded to my personal taste. My first post in FS community!

I've never seen a photo of this arch before, Alan, and I like yours! Good composition, and the whole image works well, including your colours. You've caught the moment well when the water looks dynamic and beautiful with those colours and mix of swirling water and spray.

The rock arch is extraordinarily craggy, especially as the scene reminds me of the sandstone cliffs and rock formations here in Victoria along the Great Ocean Road, which look soft and rounded by comparison.

Yeah, pretty sold shot with a good representation of the crashing waves. Your color grading is interesting and I think the composition is pretty sound.
