Hey,
I've noticed that in recent times I'm getting more and more into black and white and I wanted to know how you feel about this photo. It's a medieval church built between X and XII century in Bulgaria. On the inside there a preserved original icon paintings from the period.
Pleasant moody shot, exposure on the church seems a bit much.
It is an interesting old building displayed in a good composition, well framed by the timber structure, and as Francisco says, it is pleasingly moody, Vladislav.
I'm inclined to agree with him about exposure. What immediately struck me about the image is the bright sky around the spire. I understand that you may have wanted to emphasise the building by increasing exposure, but the processing draws a little too much attention to itself. I append an edit in which I've just toned this down a bit, but it may no longer be the effect you were after any more.
Thank you, perhaps you are right about the processing attracting too much attention. I'll work on it again.
you just have to pick the items to make a path for the eye to follow not so much a direct highlight on a single area especially dead center in the shot
