Three Cime or Drei Zinnen - Dolomites, Italy.
After this photo, I'm clear why and how names are given to some of the mountains. It seems to me that associativity here is very clearly highlighted.
Do you also see the smoke from this factory as I called this picture?
epic edit Radisa i would love to seethe difference from your raw file to finish i think i might post that way from now on in the group
In this case is a little problematic that display all RAW files in all exposures over time and how the clouds were fast, they a somewhat different. But I can one, although it is not a valid example in this case because I used 5 files in the range of maybe 5 minutes with several different duration of exposure ..
Just to add, everything there was done with ND filter and the exposures are in the range from 20 to 60 sec.
As you can see, the main work is on correction of perspective and color correction, nothing particularly special.
looks good to me i haven't played with warping perspective much but would try in under the right circumstances
I think I just use some skew towards left (I almost don't use a warp tool, as I don't use dodge and burn at all)
Hi Radisa, I really like your edit on this. The color grading is excellent and the work you did on the stacks/vignette really makes them pop.
The long exposure really adds mystery to the image.
Yes, I do see the 'smoke' from the chimneys
Vignette is mostly from shorter exposures, towers from longer ones. I'm glad you like my processing and that is the most important today if you want to stand out your work from the crowded similar images.
Thanks a lot Alan!
And to add, in this case (as regards to color balance), I have decided on a de-saturated variant that pulls to mostly magenta and deep blue side.
Amazing shot. And a "Picture" perfect title.
Thanks so much Kassandra!
Epic indeed, Radisa! The smoking chimney effect is striking. Great composition as ever, and your processing is exemplary, taking the image to a poetic level, with wonderful mood. Curious that you don't dodge/burn - how many different approaches can yield good results in different hands. You are like a painter in your approach.
Your work and your modesty humbles us amateurs.
Thanks so much Chris on your kind words!
Very nice picture, and as you mentioned, the clouds that looks like smoke from a chimney give the picture a extra punch.
well done.
Many thanks Kjell!
