I'm giving these three correctly exposed LE RAW files from Bled lake (of course in Jpeg format in full resolution) for everyone who accept the challenge and make your final photo (without ugly instant software HDR solutions) with basic blending this three exposures without clipping on white or black side, and normally post it here.
I hope there is not tripod movements and so much dust spots and if you have a problem with the wind in the leaves and movement in clouds this is normal problems which has every landscape photographer, and it will not be taken into consideration, just relaxed.
Note: I did not work on this photos, nor will I do it.
These are just the first steps to make a technically acceptable photo that can be printed without problems or to pass a check with some trained stock photo reviewer.
Hi Radisa I blended these in gimp is it good??
Here's how highlight and shadow clipping warning looks like in Camera Raw, (red is a warning for highlights, and blue for shadows). In your case, bigger is a problem in the shadows, in sections that are colored in blue.
Unfortunately, you have not succeeded to do correctly blending exposures in a technical sense and you also have too much grain in image, which is an indication that something has not been done well in the process of editing.
Thanks Jeremy for your participation and invested effort!
is this better?
Much better!
And I forgot, you can use these photos freely :)
As far as black and white balance in photoshop, if you want to be conservative with a histogram just set your white/black point settings to be 5% above and below pure black and white. You can do this in curves adjustments by double clicking on the eyedropper tools and manually setting the rgb levels.
This is an easy way to make sure your black/white points fall into average printer tolerances.
Thanks a lot Francisco for your useful input!
How is this?
Not bad Luke. You passed the challenge and got photos!
