Hmm.. I keep looking at this image wondering how to be helpful. I know you want to keep the path of light down the middle, but I like looking at ferns. Maybe try giving a little more light to the foreground area bringing out a few more detail in the shadow areas. As to color, green has yellow in it so play around with the yellows. I wonder if you have just a bit too much green. The sun rays are green and the trunk of the large tree is quite green, too. (BTW I am looking at your image on a laptop and when I tilt the screen, the foreground does get a bit brighter)
I agree with you about playing with the yellows. I find these greens to be to blue. I would like to see this warmed up a bit as I am missing the warm browns, etc of the forest. i love the composition though! nicely done Dylan.
I also have red/green colorblindness which is a source of hilarity in my home. I am always unsure of my photo editing because of it. I like your photo.
Excellent composition on this beautiful capture Dylan.
Little bit on green side regarding color balance.
I ended up saturating a good bit of the green from the photo. Maybe about 50%. It was very green in person.
Thanks you for the comment!

Thank you both for the comments. I'll try fiddling around with the yellows and browns.
