Etive Mor Waterfall.

Took this shot and wasn’t quite satisfied about it, decided to go for B&W. Any thoughts, advise more then welcome. Week 3 on landscape path still a lot to go:)

I like this, Cristian! I like the composition, vital for a start, and the mood. You capture the silky effect of a long exposure well. You're doing extremely well if it's really week three!

If it were possible, I'd have tried to get the mountain a little more left or right so the tree is not directly in front of, and obscuring the peak.

Two other things could improve the image, both to do with post-processing, and things we all struggle with, I think.

Firstly, the dark rock areas are just a bit too dark, with not quite enough of the interesting textures decipherable - for me; this is an artistic choice, and some would disagree with me here. It's your image, and your call.

Secondly, there are haloes due to processing around the mountain and the tree - it looks as if it is in front of a slightly glowing background compared to the mountain to its left and right.

I look forward to further posts from you. :-)

Thank you very much. And yes it’s almost my 3rd week, being watching lot of tutorials and read a lot of articles till I decided to start.

Was really hard to move around as I jumped in the middle of one of the Waterfalls and nearly drop my camera, but was lucky. The texture of the rock was quite distracting your eyes so I chose to darken a bit more.

Definitely I’ll post more :)

Thank you for your feedback!

Yes, those wet rocks are slippery as ice in fresh water. Not so bad by the sea. Got to be very careful at waterfalls when in the wet areas!

I can't add anything above Chris's great feedback other than - Very Nicely Done!
:)

Thank you, really appreciate your feedback.
