The snows of April are still with us here in northern Utah as winter gradually fades. And to be honest, spring is making an appearance as buds start to appear or even bloom down in the valley. But this morning I was in the high places, again close to Snowbasin watching the cars scurry up to the ski resort as I gazed up on the land. And what a land it is, truly epic and moody and majestic, what more could I ask? The thing about mountains....
Hi Mark,. I am coming to think of you as a master of light. Your images, whether B/W or color always have the most spectacular light. The color in this one is really pretty too.
I'm not crazy about the cropping of this one. I find myself looking off the right side of the image following the wind blown snow. There is an overall feeling that action/interest is happening off to the right.
This could just be me! Because this is a REALLY well done, pretty image.

Thanks Ruth! That is the image as I took it, technically not "cropped" at all but of course any image can stand improvement. "Master of light"...cool.
