Beautiful, Jeremy! I think you could've opened the aperture right up. Your EXIF doesn't show what you used, but the OOF highlights don't seem dead circular. It would be good if the background was more defocussed, as it distracts from the star of the show a bit. If you could get closer to the rose and still get it in focus, that would achieve a similar effect (but change the composition).

your beautiful work prompts me to sometime try out for sun's reflection in one of the due droplet. I have recently stated paying attention to remove the noise besides the obvious distractions.
