You picked a great tree, good character, those downward branches look like they may grab someone walking by, ha ha. I like your composition, and that bit of sky color above the far background trees is a nice detail but wish there wasn't any light pollution there as well.
I also wish the spot light was just a bit softer or more diffused, but doesn't ruin the photo for me.
Great shot Chad. The tree is really a beast. I agree with Joe on having a softer light, or maybe you could play with white balance a bit? Keep playing, I haven't shot many night pictures, but for a 25 sec exposure I am thinking you could pull the iso down a bit more and get a little less noise in the sky. ??

This is very good! You can also try to pull down the exposure in the sky a little. Maybe it will be even better? Ready for large print!
