Really interesting rock textures. I thought it was large pine cone! When you say that you put in a darker sky, did you mean you edited it, or do you mean that you composited the picture?

In that case, try moving the sunlight more to the right, and I would not put in so much of the dark cloud at the top. To me it feels like the dark cloud is cropping the picture in a way.

I agree with Shawn. I would also level the clouds. This would create the final levels of a nice series of layering throughout the image.
