Mark, I think there is a nice juxtaposition happening here, with blooming flowers but a rather barren tree. Nice shot!
Interesting as always Mark! Your description makes it sound like a happy day though and the image has a very serious, somber feeling. Just pointing that out - that isn't a critique of the image. I am wondering at cropping off the top of the tree?
Has a Tim Burton feel. Very nice!
