Hi Eric! This is really lovely! We have some great waterfall photographers here and I am interested in reading their input. I have never shot a waterfall and this image is inspiring to try and find one!

I think you're going to hear that most people want to see where the falls enters the pool. The rock blocking that view is troublesome. Also, the super bright sky and resultant lens flare is a pretty big distraction. It forces the exposure to be so dark that the rest of the scene suffers. Clearly the sun was almost directly behind that opening in the trees and it dominates the entire photo.
