Sometimes, if one is fortunate, treasure is the reward for the supreme effort. A ten mile round trip hike into the crags of Moab in southern Utah along a stunning path is definitely worth that effort. And at the end of the day this magnificent sight was the reward...fallen boulder hidden waterfall.
Beautiful. Glad the effort paid off. Often I find even if I don't get that treasure at the end I come away from hikes in the wild with a peace I didn't have at the start. Glad you found your gem:) Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Brian. The picture is deceptive though. See that boulder lodged at the top? It is about 25-30 long! God help anyone who is under ti when it falls and yes, people were walking into the water.
Another great shot Mark!
Thanks Shawn!
Beautiful shot Mark. Your shots are inspiring, and more specifically, your Utah shots are really getting me excited for my trip there this summer. Hoping to find a few places like this, hopefully away from the masses to enjoy some quiet as well.
