First upload for me. Captured in Bicheno, Tasmania at dawn these large weathered boulders line the coast. Processed in LR. By reducing the exposure by 1.5 Stops and the highlights by 25 I was able to bring out the detail in the in the morning sky. Shot with a Canon 5D Mk3, Canon 17-40F4 at 17mm 1/500th at F8.
Hey Steve and Welcome! So... I totally love this! I don't know how the general landscape enthusiasts will go for it but i'm glad I am first in so I can give it a big thumbs up. I like that, in a way, this is almost an abstract with the two dark areas creating a texture/color shape in the center. Nice work!

Interesting composition Steve. The sky colors are great. Overall, for me the picture is a little dark, but that is the whole point to silhouettes. It looks like there is a lot of interesting texture in the rocks that you could bring out.
