the views of Trabzon heights in Turkey...i have two approaches to the editing, working on the rest your voting and comments to which you favor helps alot!
Thanks in Advance
I love the clouds in the first image, and the way the fog is encircling that round hill. (If that's an old hill fort on top, that makes the fog surrounding it even better.) The only thing I might change is to ease back a little on the yellows in the foreground.
Looking at the second image makes me just want to go hike up that little valley between the hills. I love the clouds and fog in this image, too, and the cloud shadows on the landscape. There's definitely too much blue going on here, though (at least in my opinion). Also the white patch (snow field? salt pan?) on the hill at far right is a bit confusing to my eye.
Thank you so much for sharing your enjoyment with these two shots..first shot does show a fort remains in center with the Turkish flag..i see your point about the yellows
i have a feeling that shot 2's editing has won you over more..one more thing, that white patch is snow and there are a few around they looked so fun gave me a feeling of joy especially that i live in Dubai ;)
I do like shot 2 better, but that may just be personal taste: I like winding paths better than grand ascents, and I like blue more than I like yellow.
I get your point about the snow. I live in Seattle. Snow happens here in the city most winters, and hangs around in the tops of the nearby mountains all year. But I go positively nuts over magnificent old historic palaces and so forth: those are as rare around here as, well, snow in the desert. ;)
Great shots of a gorgeous place.
