Thank you very much Peter. I need to figure out how to give the background a "slight blur" on lightroom. Will try.
Arjun, try this. Using lightroom select the radial filter in develop mode. Draw the circle around the bird. I think that sliding either the texture or clarity sliders or both will give you a decent effect. Others on the group may have other techniques. ?? I was too lazy to download your picture, but here is one that I slid both texture and clarity to -50. The original was pretty much all in focus.
BTW, texture was just recently introduced to Lightroom; I am using the latest version.
