Can you imagine having your child preferring a nature run instead of a theme park? We decided to go to a few nature trails and boat tours in the Orlando area and the Mt Dora canal visit was great. Eagles, osprey, anhingas and of course gators, are all in the area waiting for your lens. But the finest part is when you just enjoy the water and fauna.

I went through there a few years back and it is a beautiful little boat ride. It was also the location for filming scenes for the African Queen with Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn.
