A single frame of a smallish but powerful wave ( about 4 m during a day with average height waves of 6m). I think that the wave periods were about 18 seconds. Taken using a Pentax K-3 11.
The expected storms are moving south towards the Southern Ocean so not much excitement for the next few weeks.
This female has arrived at Hamerton. This place rescues animals from all over the world, mainly endangered species, and they breed when they can.
A couple of old photos taken while the Amtrak was stopped - somewhere in Colorado, I think?
