This is a snapshot for sure but I just love these flowers. I was walking by and happened to have my camera in hand. Sadly the was a slight breeze to the focus is soft. I now i must wait another year for these to bloom again.

Neat flower! Next time try to hold the camera a little higher and get rid of that distracting background. Or a fill flash would also help increase the the exposure on the subject and tame down the overblown background. It would help get a faster shutter speed to combat the wind.
I was back and forth about the background. Shot higher it was just all green and red. Good point about a little flash. A snapshot that I wish I would have spent a little more time on.
