Woody Point Jetty

This was my first attempt at long exposure night shots that I was happy with. I was specifically working on getting the smoothing of the water right and played with several exposure times. I haven't done any real post production on this except to make a few adjustments to the colour. The browns in the image are all natural as it was an overcast night and the light from the shipping terminals at the mouth of the Brisbane river and the nearby Airport cast an orange light into the sky. I'm always keen on getting constructive feedback.

The ghosting of some of the figures on the Jetty was not something I initially noticed but since playing around with the image I've come to like it. I took the shot with a crop sensor on a 100mm lens as it was brand new at the time and my only quality glass.

I actually made a mistake, this was taken at 45mm and f11 on my EFS 18-55mm kit lens.
