Monti Pallidi

'Monti Pallidi' or 'The pale mountains' is actually an ancient name of the well know Dolomites in Italy. It finds it's origin in an old local legend...

After an entire day of hiking and taking pictures on the magnificent 'Seiser Alm' plateau, we agreed to spend a little more time there after sunset before walking back to the car...and that definitely turned out to be a good decision :)

This is an amazing image. I love that there are 2 lonely structures amidst these massive mountain peaks. The moon lining up in the center peak really takes it to the next level for me. I love the colors and feel like you have a great balance of highlights and shadows on the rolling hills in the foreground. Excellent work
