Recently I was contemplating on picking up something like a 300mm f/2.8 or 400mm f/2.8, however I decided instead to purchase a kayak. The best investment you can make is the one that will allow you to get better photos and I honestly think this kayak has been proving its value way beyond what a new lens would have.
Waterfowl photography is one of my favorite forms of photography and finding this pied billed grebe just before sunset was a real treat.
