On Sunday I made the two hour drive into the high uintas, a different set of mountains from the Wasatch which are in my immediate area.I drove to Ruth Lake, a location my wife and I hiked for the first time last August. As I made my way through the woods I ran into an area where water ran off from the lake creating a very mossy area full of flowers! A smorgasbord of natures best colors, stunningly beautiful and a image formed in my mind. Still as I walked one could sense the flowers had peaked already and the end of the season had arrived. I was witnessing a...late summer's palette.
A Season nicely caught. Exploring pays off!
Yes it does!
