Given the current Critique the Community challenge, I thought I'd share one of the first photos I've ever sold. I remember being really excited over this photo and happy so many people thought it valuable enough to purchase it for Christmas presents at the time.
Can I not post photos in the groups I belong too or only via the portfolio which has stayed stuck on the same allowance for weeks.
A couple of old photos taken while the Amtrak was stopped - somewhere in Colorado, I think?
(And yes, I like that the vertical leans!)
I've photographed Ady a few times now. We get better each time as a team. This image was a fave from our latest session. I hope you like it to.
Just a heads up for anyone that may be interested (and as things are slow in the group.....).

great shot!
Thanks Lee! I really appreciate it.
Other than the slight overabundance of snow in front of the animal's face, this is amazing. Perfect for a holiday card.
Thanks, yeah I agree with your observation of the snow. This photo was taken in October during a freak snowstorm, it was coming down heavy and hard. Made for some awesome nature photos, but was a challenge indeed.
Great shot, it has a majestic feel to it! Very awesome, that you had people value this photo enough to buy it. Probably the greatest compliment you can receive in this field!
Great photo, I am also currently waiting for that first sale and I can't wait to feel just like you did.
What a stunning image! Congrats on your first sale :)
