This photo was recently featured on the viewbug website so I thought I'd post it here as well. What's funny about this is I didn't even edit this photo after this shoot. It wasn't until I was going through some old photos to practice messing around with lightroom and photoshop that I decided to edit this one.
This pier is one of my favorite things to shoot when ever I'm visiting my home town on the North Carolina coast. No matter how many times you go to shoot the same subject the lighting, the texture in the water, the tides, it always looks different than the last time. It may not be the most original composition but these piers always make for nice photos and no two of them ever turn out the same.
Love the image Kyle. Well done mate.
Thanks!
Thumbs up - structure, lines and light all make for a great piece of work
Thanks!
Nice photo Kyle.
(Can I make a comment?... the underside of the pier is a bit too bright so it looks a little false. Hey just my 2c)
Thanks, yeah it could probably be brought down a bit.
