I took this picture at Alpe di Siusi just after sunset. The plan was to shoot the mountain at sunset, but then I realised that the moon would rise right above it. I shot the moon separately as it is very bright using a 200mm lens and composed it into the shot.
Hi Ali, It is a great shot! I really like it. To my eye it is a wee bit too orange making it look a little strange, can you turn it down? Just my 2c.
It has a painterly look to it. Maybe due to the way the land has been cleared. I want to know more. Where is the home? Maybe the barn is the home? Great story telling photo!
Good work and a great shot, good composition. Something feels odd to me. Maybe it is it's the moon. Usually near the horizon the moon is not quite so blue-white, it us usually a little warm. Thinking about it more, the shot is very good without the moon. The moon competes for attention with the mountains and cabin and hiker.
Love the shot! I think the moon is a bit to prominent though
