Northern Lights and Milky way

I took this photograph in Yukon. I had setup my tripod to take photos of the Milky way. However the Northern Lights pretty much showed up every night. I am still learning photography. Is there a way to shoot both of them? This was done using 15-20 seconds. I tried one where I focused on the stars. But Northern Lights take over the image.

Love the shot and when you think of the science behind the lights it's even more impressive. I doubt you can shoot both subjects as the light from one is obscured by the other.

Thank you for your comments - in all fairness it looked even better in person -The odd thing is this place is the Lights always appear in the same location and from 10 PM to 2AM 5 days in a row

Hi Shidhar. There is a chance to improve a little....did you photograph in RAW? If you did then you can adjust the shadows exposure in a photo editing software (don't adjust too far as it can look false) Ralph

Yes I shot it in raw - and this is unedited - right out of the camera- thank you for your suggestions
