Into the mist...
Thoughts or feedback appreciated. Would like to get the bus photo print worthy. Both were shot on a rainy day last September in Lassen Volcanic NP with a telephoto.
Normally I don't go for any anthropic influence in my landscapes, but I think the bus adds a pop of color, draws the eye, and most importantly adds scale. I had to act fast and catch it in this window traveling up switchbacks. The break in the clouds revealing a 'floating island' was interesting. I could've spent all day driving back and forth through the park as the clouds were changing. And I pretty much did! I was working in the park at the time on research but made this my day off on account of the weather.
