Good job, Jeremy. While I understand Sophie's reasoning, for me the uneven gradient keeps the photo from looking artificial. like CGI. To be SUPER picky, I'd take those shadows at the edge of the road precisely to the corners i.e. make the left corner match the right. I'd also be using the viewfinder grid or other markings to make sure the centre of the road was in the centre of the image, if I wanted symmetry. However, some might use the same argument about all that as I did about Sophie's point!
Very nicely composed image. Love the concept, one thing I might fix is composite in a sky so it doesnt have that uneven gradient.
