Moist Autumn Leaves

Does that word make you cringe too?

Have to admit that caption really did make me laugh out loud 🤣 I like the red toned colours and the little pop of green from the moss. Its nice how the leaves trail off from left to right, feels logical for those of us reading in languages that do that.

I'm being super picky here but I feel like the shot could be so much better if you gave it a reason. What I mean is, a component that makes you go wow and draws you in, for example if you created the shot around just 1 super amazing leaf being the focal point, or a macro of a single water drop on the leaf or just something a little more unusual than a stack of leaves. That is purely personal opinion though and I'm ready to be told otherwise.

Hi Sophie,

It's an awful word isn't it!? lol

Thank you so much for the constructive feedback and I'll take it on board. I do agree with you that if it was more focused on one leaf or a droplet it would have created meaning to the image, thank you again :-)

Lol, moist.... Ewww. Maybe dewy autumn leaves? I love the rusty color but I agree with the other poster that having a more defined focal point might be better overall. Thanks for sharing!

I think the word is getting more attention than the picture lol

Thank you, Alison I appreciate the feedback and it’s good to know I’ve at least made a few people feel rather uncomfortable with the choice of title! Lol

:-)
