Tacking Point

I played around with ND filters to adjust the shutter speed to retain detail in the ocean. The tide was so powerful, a visceral thing to be next to while the sun was setting.

A nice image that draws the eye, I like the muted colours as it feels like a colder white balance that I think fits. Nice that they provide a lighthouse to tell you when to tack, or the rocks may beckon ;o)

Thank you all for your comments and critiques. I am on the learning curve and hope to improve my style via honest feedback within this group.

Anthony, I like yours the best vs the ones others have edited. The color, details, and clarity. Whatever you were doing, keep doing it.

Thank your for your feedback, much appreciated.

Like the original image. The muted colors look good.
