Lovely misty atmosphere. Thanks for sharing! ❤️

Thanks Alison , much appreciated

Really great attempt Victor, I like the uniqueness of colors down below and your direction & timing of motion looks good.

I have been experimenting a lot with different ICM techniques myself (some examples in my profile if you want to reference) and think it has a lot to offer once a level of understanding has been achieved.

Great work!

Thanks Alan much appreciated , i looked at your profile , think i have a lot to learn , but thats the enjoyment

Thanks for your kind words Victor. I am also trying to learn myself and think shared experiences help.

If interested I have a project of my work on my website that includes tech details on each image, and entries on my blog describing my findings.

The project is here;

If you have any questions I'd be glad to answer as best I can. As you indicate, learning the process is fun (and at least in my case includes many failures.....)

i have a question , do you use the orton effect any of your images , really like your project , i love the simplicity of the images

Not on these particular shots . I have considered it but don’t think it would help.
I can see why you might ask as the effects are similar.

This is cool. Very artistic

I love painterly stuff. This is very nice.

A well-composed, beautifully-toned image, Victor - Impressionistic indeed.

It is appropriate for this Group, surely, but I think even more so for the Minimalism, Abstract, Experimental Group, Victor. You can post in both.

Hey Chris, is this a sign of you moving toward the dark side? I thought this stuff was not your cup of tea - or perhaps it just has to be done right :-)

In any case, great to see your comment (as always)

Could you give us some more insight about your technique? How did you move the camera? I'd very much like to steal this idea and run with it.

Hi Ryan the exposure was about half a second experimented with straight up and down movement but found best results downward to keep the sky out of the frame , the fun is with trying ideal for overcast sky's , post some results will be interesting

Lovely!
